Caselle di Selvazzano Dentro (Padua), 19 February 2019 – Daiko Lazarus Racing is pleased to announce that Nicolas “Nici” Pohler will be racing with the Huracán GT3 EVO in the 2019 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.

Pohler, who already raced with Team Lazarus in the Blancpain Championship in 2017, will share the wheel of the Lamborghini with Fabrizio Crestani. Together they will start in the five Endurance races on the calendar in 2019 at Monza, Silverstone, Paul Ricard, Spa and Barcelona.

The young racing driver from Munich started his career in karting in 2005, later participating in Formula 3 as well as the ADAC GT Masters. Since 2016 Pohler has been starting in the world of GT racing.

“We are very happy having Nici back with us at Team Lazarus and having such a young driver with such a knowledge of GT racing is very satisfying for us,” Team Lazarus Team Principal Tancredi Pagiaro said. “With Pohler and Crestani we have two extremely fast drivers and we know that we can fight for the top positions in the Silver Class.”

The Blancpain GT Endurance Cup starts with the race at Monza on the weekend of 13/14 April and will be concluded with the 3-hour race at Barcelona on 28/29 September.

Soon the third driver for Team Lazarus joining Crestani and Pohler in the Blancpain Endurance Cup will be announced.
